A group of ten Finnish punsters from Joijala in Finland's Tampere region became brand-new millionaires when their ticket matched the seven winning numbers in the Eurojackpot Friday, April 4, 2014 draw. The group's ticket matched the winning numbers 10, 15, 28, 30 and 33 and the lucky numbers 4 and 6. The group picked their winning numbers in the local R-Kioski outlet.
Veikkaus, the state-run betting monopoly, announced that Friday's draw gave the winning ticket the jackpot prize of €57 million. The purse was far the biggest in Eurojackpot history. The pot reached €57 million after 10 rollovers.
The group's lottery win was the third Eurojackpot win in Finland. It was only the second time a Eurojackpot top purse had been won since the start of the current year.
A €10 million purse will be offered for Eurojackpot's draw on Friday, April 11.
