The current Powerball lottery jackpot is the highest jackpot ever. It is now $305 million as there was no winner of the $253 million last August 11 draw.
After-tax cash prize would be $203.3 million if the winner would opt for a lump-sum cash payout.
The new high-water mark is the result of 14 draws without a winner which started last June 27, 2012.
