Prep Up for the El Gordo December 2012 Draw

You can well be on your way to becoming a billionaire this coming holiday season. El Gordo will surely close the year with a bang as they give away €2.5 billion in the December 22, 2012 draw. This announcement will probably set off a lot of people into pooling their own groups in preparation for the much awaited draw. And, who wouldn’t? Even if you will be splitting the large winnings with the rest of your group members, you will still find yourself armed with loads of money. And that’s perfect to celebrate the yuletide season and the coming year ahead as well.

Even without a hefty jackpot, many enjoy playing the El Gordo lottery game because of the bigger chances of winning. You get to play with a group meaning you also lessen the cost of buying several tickets. Once you join the group play, you get to share ten lottery tickets and definitely enjoy an increase in the odds of hitting it big. Prepare for the time of your life once you win the jackpot but even if you land the 2nd and 3rd prizes, you still get to take home millions of Euros. And since you are playing a group, you are going to shell out a lesser amount of money because the total entry cost is divided among all the share holders. Imagine that with only €20, you can already have one El Gordo Group share. But remember that if you own more shares, you are also doubling your share on the group prize loot.

You can expect the largest number of winners this coming December because 15,304 prize winning tickets will be drawn. This only means that once you enter your number combinations in time, you get 153,040 chances of winning a share of the exciting cash payout every time a draw is made.
El Gordo remains to be a lottery favorite among many because you can play it anywhere you are in the world. You do not even have to be a Spanish national to be eligible. A lot of international players make use of this opportunity by getting the services of Overseas Subscribers Agents (OSA) to be able to take part of the game. And in case you get lucky with your set of lucky numbers, you get to receive and enjoy your cash winnings in full.

Powerball Jackpot Winner Experiences the Change Advantages

Last August 15, 2012 was definitely a lucky day for one person in Michigan as the winning numbers translated to huge winnings in the Powerball draw! The whopping $320 million jackpot prize was eventually won after several months of waiting. February of this year was the last time someone took home a much-coveted huge jackpot payout and everyone was buzzing with excitement as they waited for the next instant millionaire. The winner from the state of Michigan clearly benefited from the advantage of having the Powerball changes made recently come into play.

In January 2012, Powerball had a revamp as they made some changes in order to provide bigger jackpots and more chances of bringing home large winnings. Although the cost of one ticket increased to $2, the starting jackpot also coincided with this increase by doubling it from $20 million to $40 million. There was also a shooting up of jackpots as they implemented a minimum of $10 million with every roll. The prize in Match-5 made a leap from $200,000 to $1 million while the Powerball-only prize jumped from $3 to $4. Naturally, with these changes, the odds of hitting it big also adjusted from the usual 1 in 195.2 million to 1 in 175.2 million. Even if you don’t rake in the much-coveted jackpot prize, you still get more chances of winning other prizes as the odds changed from 1 in 35 to 1 in 32.

If the price increase is your concern then you can rest easy because evidently, with just a slight change in the ticket price, more benefits were given to every player. You get larger jackpot payouts and better gaming odds. Powerball has drawings every Wednesdays and Saturdays each week so you can try your luck as much as you want. Aside from the major changes mentioned, lottery game enthusiasts can enjoy the Powerball they have grown to love because the basic play style did not change. You just need to take note that the number of red Powerball numbers is lessened by four. That means you have to pick five white ball numbers from a total of 59 and a single Powerball number from a total of 35.

American Powerball is your exciting shot to becoming an instant millionaire. With the combined revenue from over 40 participating states in the US, the game is now regarded as the premium lotto game. More winners are expected to realize their dream of becoming multi-millionaires with the recent adjustments in the game mechanics.

Lotto win mystery

"It's the only time we can find anywhere in world lottery history that somebody won a major jackpot and gave it up," Rich said Aug. 8.

Euro Millions Jackpot Reaches EUR190,000,000 Cap!

There is no better time to purchase your tickets for the Euro Millions draw! The top prize for Tuesday, August 7th, has reached an all-time high of €190 million! Yes, you read it right, a staggering €190 million jackpot prize is up for grabs.

This proves to be a monumental event because Euro Millions has one again reached the ceiling amount or jackpot prize cap. This is the first time that the jackpot reached this astounding amount, which is why many are wondering if the jackpot will be successfully won just like in July 2011 when the jackpot prize of €185 million was taken home.

It can be remembered that when Euro Millions was launched in 2004, 12 rollover draws was the original limit for the jackpot prize. The rule was changed so that the jackpot prize can reach €185 million- but thus was won in July 2011. In February this year, the maximum jackpot was set at a maximum of €190 million.

This means that if the jackpot is not won on Tuesday, the top prize will remain at €190 million for the Friday, August 10 draw. On the occasion that nobody hits the jackpot on the second draw, the prize pool will be rolled down and distributed to the lower division prizes. This only means one thing - all that prize money must be won this week! If this isn’t reason enough to make a beeline for Euro Millions tickets, then we’re not sure what.

So, what are you waiting for? Before you put on your thinking cap and whip up the ultimate list of what to do with €190 million, bring out your luckiest of numbers and secure your entries for the biggest jackpot ever in Euro Millions now! Today just might be your lucky day!
