Every household in the town of Sodesto, Spain has made off with roughly USD130,000 except one man who forgot to buy his share of the El Gordo Lottery ticket bought by the townsfolk in December.
Film maker Costis Mitsotakis was the only among 70 households in Sodesto who did not participate in the town's lottery ticket pooling. They won a $950-million lottery jackpot in Spain's Christmas lottery.
