Georgia man turns trashed ticket into $250,000

Andrew Hunter, a Taco Mac server from Dawsonville, Georgia, was lucky to recognize a winning ticket he threw in the trash. The ticket won for him $3 as it matched one number and the Mega Ball number. He headed to the Quik Trip on 1655 Buford Highway in Cumming, Georgia and with his winnings, played it on three "quick pick" numbers.

This time, he scored $250,000 on Tuesday's November 15 draw. Hunter describes himself as "pretty frugal" and hopes to invest the cash and open a business. "I want to own a beer brewery," he said.
