Tennessee Lottery Hope Scholarships

In 7 years, folks from Tennessee have spent roughly $7.5 Billion on state lotto tickets, and in effect, have been raising two billion dollars for education.

The HOPE lottery scholarship program subsidises the tuition fees of high school students from Tennessee who can maintain an average grade in their college, including summer school tuition, enabling students to graduate faster.  It basically knocks off about $4,000 from the price of a students tuition fee.  This costs the state a startup of $22 Million and over a hundred thousand students have become beneficiaries of the lottery scholarships on a yearly average.

Those living outside the US can participate in various international lotteries because they can play lotto online.  American Powerball, Mega Millions, Euro Millions can be played online as well.
