Europe's Richest Woman

French heiress, socialite, businesswoman, and philanthropist, Liliane Bettencourt is currently Europe's richest women with a fortune estimated at US$23.5 billion.  She is one of the principal shareholders of L'Oreal which was founded by her father, Eugene Scheuller.

During her teenage years, she was an apprentice in her father's company, mixing cosmetics and labelling bottles of shampoo.  Obviously, she didn't win a big cash prize online, but instead, she later inherited her father's assets and the L'Oreal company soon went public.  As a philanthropist, she founded the Bettencourt Scheuller Foundation together with her husband to support humanitarian projects.

She serves as an inspiration to women who only dream of becoming a billionaire.
