Winning lottery ticket sold in Susanville

3 lucky California Lottery players are waking up this morning to news of a hefty check coming their way.
One of those players bought his or her ticket at Susanville Supermarket matched five of six numbers to split a pot of money worth $505,962. The player will lay claim to a payday worth $168,654.

The California Lottery reminds winners to sign the back of their ticket, keep tickets in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit their local Lottery District Office as soon as possible. Winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim prizes. MEGA Millions is a multistate game, played in California and 41 other states. The California Lottery is celebrating 25 years of enhancing education and supporting local communities. More than 94 cents of every dollar spent by our players goes back to the community in the form of contributions to public schools and colleges, prizes and retail compensation.
