In 2005, the speculation that you can predict the lottery rose to popularity. After a Brazilian mathematician named Renato Gianella published his study – the Geometry of Chance – the idea that mathematics can help you improve your odds of winning inched closer to becoming a reality.
A few years before Gianella's "strategy" became publicized by the Daily Mail, there were news of a group of MIT students monopolizing a lottery for $8M.
Part of the MIT story included the students filling out the tickets by hand, which raised questions as to why anyone would bother wasting their time and effort filling out $600,000 worth of lottery tickets.
The technique was that there are lottery combinations that are more likely to appear in a draw.
Mathematics & the Lottery
The lottery has existed for centuries. For the most of these centuries, people have been trying to find a foolproof way to seal the deal and win it big. People who don't understand the hand that math has against the lottery thinks they've been stuck with the same few "strategies" – avoiding low numbers, pretty ticket patterns, and consecutive combinations – for years.
In reality, mathematics has been cracking the lottery for quite some time.
Except this time around, someone has finally polished, expanded, and bettered the technique Gianella and the MIT students used.
If you register at Lottometrix, you will finally play the lottery with greater chance of winning.
The Worst, The Bad & The Best
Computing for the probabilities and validating them by gathering results from a decade or more ago can be daunting, especially if you're planning on playing with bigger lottery game matrices.
Lottometrix will do the heavy lifting for you – or in this case, the heavy calculations.
Did you know that in the EuroMillions, out of 196 patterns, there are 191 patterns to avoid and only 5 are best to play with?
In the Powerball, out of the 462 patterns there are 456 patterns that you are wasting money on, and you have probably been putting money on those numbers your whole life.
Play the lottery with the right strategy. Avoid bad combinations and play with the best patterns.

This year, Powerball has reached its record jackpot at a $1.5 Billion mark. The jackpot was won by three ticket-holders – from Tennessee, Florida, and California. To this day, the California has yet to step up and take their share of the jackpot.
Aside from the three winners, the $1.5 billion jackpot also helped a hefty number of Americans. In the year’s first three months, Powerball ticket sales brought in $11.8 million for Oregon’s Economic Development fund. That’s nearly $9 million more than the previous quarter. All thanks to the record-breaking Powerball jackpot in January.
The larger the jackpot, the higher the sales. The higher the sales, the more they fund. In the state’s 2013-2015 budget cycle, public education received 57 percent of lottery funds, and 27 percent went to economic development. 15 percent were shared to state parks and natural resources. Meanwhile, 1 percent were given to programs that focused on treating gambling addiction.
Accordingly, the upcoming Powerball jackpot is at $137 million for Wednesday’s draw. If you want to play the Powerball, you can do so at www.osalottos.com. At the time of writing, you can participate in the Powerball, Mega Millions, Euro Millions, and more via the link from anywhere in the world.

A mother of 7 was the sole winner of the $429 million Powerball jackpot last May 6 2016. The winner, Pearlie Mae Smith, is a church pastor who rarely gambles. She claims she only bought a ticket to play the Powerball at a 7-Eleven store in Trenton because she felt compelled to play after having the numbers popped into her head.
On May 7, the family learned that they matched all six winning Powerball numbers. Moreover, Smith was the sole holder of the winning ticket.
They opted for the lump sum payment, which is $284 million after taxes. The winnings will be split in eights ways among her and her seven children. Ms. Smith described the experience as being inspired to play by “divine intervention”
The winning numbers for the May 6th draw were 5, 25, 26, 44, and 66 with the red Powerball number 9. The family – six sisters and one brother – met with a life coach and previous jackpot winners to learn from their experiences. They plan on tithing 10 percent of their winnings to God.
The next Powerball draw will be on Wednesday, June 1st. The jackpot at stake is currently at $90 million with a cash option of $65.5 million.
Meanwhile, the next Mega Millions draw will be on Tuesday, May 31st, with an estimated jackpot of $235 million and a cash option of $153 million.

Maureen Smith and David Kalthschmidt waited two months before announcing their 1/3 winning share of the $1.5B Powerball jackpot on January 13 to the public.
Smith shared the difficulty they had to go through as they kept the news of the big win a secret from friends and family. John and Lisa Robinson of Tennessee did quite the opposite when they quickly went to the media and the Today Show to announce that they were, in fact, one of three $1.5B Powerball winners.
One ticket-holder from Chino Hills, California has yet to come forward and claim their share.
Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has grown to $116M with a $75.6M lump sum payment. The next drawing will be on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. You can play to win the Powerball from anywhere in the world here.
